MECCA 2010 Ramadan Dinner

We're sorry tickets are no longer being sold for this event.  Capacity is full.

This year, the topic will be “Sharing the Blessed Environment” and will focus on living a green lifestyle, which will go hand-in-hand with a national effort to make Ramadan an environmental month. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Clare Butterfield, director of Faith in Place and the Illinois Interfaith Power & Light Campaign, who will help address some of these issues.

The dinner will will take place on Wed, Sept 1st, from 6:00- 9:00pm at the Ashton Place in Willowbrook.  The dinner will include an iftar and a chance to interact with fellow community members.  Please RSVP by Aug. 18.

Tickets until Aug. 18 are $35 for adults and $20 for children.  Ticket prices after Aug. 18 are $45 for adults and $25 for children. Priority seating will be saved for those who have RSVP'd; after Aug. 18, seating is subject to availability. Tickets may not be available at the door.

Last year, the annual event was a huge success, attracting many members of the MECCA community, as well as politicians and other faith leaders in the surrounding neighborhoods.

Please extend an invitation to any non-Muslim friends and neighbors to attend this event with your family, but make sure to RSVP on their behalf so that proper accommodations can be made.
